We’re looking for a motivated and curious person to support the operational transformation of the business by enabling the adoption of AI tools (such as Copilot), integrating key business systems (such as CRM, project management, accounting systems) and centralising data for reporting and decision-making through platforms like Power BI. This is a hands-on role with scope to contribute ideas and insights to strategic discussions. This role will be based full-time in our Derby office.

Responsibilities
Facilitate the continuing rollout of AI tools and training across the company in line with business strategic goals and applicable IT policies.
- Stay up to date on the latest developments in the application of relevant AI technologies, providing input to strategic planning and decision making. - Work across all teams to help identify opportunities to implement AI tools in support of reducing administration overheads, streamlining processes and increasing capability. - Champion the use of AI tools across teams, with a focus on Microsoft Copilot and other relevant tools to drive efficiency improvements. - Implement and provide training and support to help teams adopt AI tools effectively.
Support the drive to integrate and connect our various operational systems supporting reducing duplication of effort and information storage.
- Connect and automate workflows between CRM, project management, and finance systems using tools like Zapier and Power Automate. - Maintain and troubleshoot integrations to ensure data flows smoothly between platforms. - Collaborate with IT to ensure integrations are secure and scalable.
Support the surfacing and visualisation of data from various systems to provide centralised dashboards supporting all levels of the company.
- Work with stakeholders to define data requirements and ensure data quality. - Support the consolidation of data from multiple systems into a centralised reporting layer. - Build and maintain Power BI dashboards to provide visibility into key operational metrics.
Skills and requirements
- A can-do, continuous improvement mindset striving to make things better. - Strong interest in AI and digital transformation. - Experience with generative AI tools. - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. - Be comfortable working across teams, translating requirements into technical solutions. - Solid organisational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking. - Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (and Microsoft 365). - Familiarity with data management systems such as CRMs, Project Management, and accounting platforms. - Hands-on experience with automation tools (e.g. Zapier, Power Automate). - Proficiency in data visualisation tools. - Understanding of data governance and security best practices. - A desire to learn new technologies and adapt to a regularly changing digital landscape.
Nice to have
- Experience with Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio. - Strong knowledge of data governance and security best practices. - Proficient and strong experience in Power BI. - Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office (and Microsoft 365).
