Errwood Hall AR App Launched and Featured by BBC News

A Peak District Victorian family home has been brought back to life through an augmented reality (AR) app, created by Bloc Digital and Peak District National Park Foundation.

Featured by BBC East Midlands, the immersive visitor experience app has given the once magnificent Errwood Hall a new lease of life by digitally reimagining the ruins.
The free-to-download app includes life-sized augmented reality, interactive 3D models, and fact files – enabling users to uncover what the hall looks like today, as well as immerse themselves in what it looked like in its heyday. Available to access both on-site and remotely, it puts history in the palm of users' hands and aims to engage new audiences in the heritage around them.

The recently launched app has already been showcased as part of two events, including Buxton Fringe Festival, and is now being featured by BBC News.
