We have an exciting opportunity for a student to join our Business Development team here at our Head Office in Derby on a 12-month Student Placement. This role will be key to providing support to the marketing team and managing specific projects to support the development of strong and innovative digital marketing strategies. We are looking for a Digital Marketer to produce engaging and impactful content across multiple platforms for Bloc Hub.

Combining thought leadership, expert analysis, and cutting-edge digital tools, it helps engineers quickly collect essential data, often overlooked and present it in a format everyone can understand.
Responsibilities
Support the Digital Marketing team in their daily duties Assist in the development and implementation of digital marketing strategies Manage and optimise social media accounts Create engaging content Conduct market research, competitor analysis and keyword research Monitor and report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns using tools like Google Analytics Assist in the planning and execution of paid advertising campaigns Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing marketing materials Participate in team meetings and contribute to strategic planning sessions Work hand-in-hand with all areas of the team to produce visually compelling content for social media, case studies, and marketing materials Utilise photography and videography skills to document case studies, events, and other marketing activities Manage own priorities to meet deadlines across projects
Skills and requirements
Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field Strong understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in social media platforms and digital marketing tools Basic knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organisational and time management skills Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high quality work in written and visual formats
Nice to have
Experience with digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads and social media management platforms Creative skills Previous internship or work experience in a marketing role Before you interview- A brief understanding of Industry 5.0 and SaaS Products (quick research)
