Software Developer (Unity)
As a Software Developer at Bloc, you will use your software development skills to design, program and deliver bespoke cutting-edge projects. Creating real-time instances and interactions from multiple data inputs enabling monitoring, visualisation and interaction. Projects include AR/VR applications and cross platform web delivered solutions.
Responsibilities
Creating high quality Augmented and Virtual Reality (XR) applications.
Working closely with team members to deliver projects on time, budget and to specification.
Continually refining skills and keeping up to date with emerging technologies, techniques and workflows.
Support the further development of our software products
Skills and Requirements
Proficient in C# and Object-Oriented programming, a minimum of 3 years of experience developing in these languages
Minimum 3 years of experience developing and delivering immersive (AR, VR etc.) applications
Working knowledge of software design architectures
Working knowledge of source control
Working knowledge of Unity
An understanding of web technologies and experience developing/supporting projects for web delivery.
Have a portfolio of work that demonstrates relevant skills
Nice to have
Proficient in the use of source control, preferably Git
Working knowledge of linear algebra
Experience developing Unity editor scripts and plugins
Experience developing Unity shaders
Experience with Unreal Engine
