About the job

As a Unity Developer at Bloc, you will use your software development skills to design, program and deliver bespoke cutting-edge projects. Creating real-time instances and interactions from multiple data inputs enabling monitoring, visualisation and interaction. Projects include AR/VR applications and cross platform web delivered solutions.

Responsibilities

- Creating high quality Augmented and Virtual Reality (XR) applications.
- Working closely with team members to deliver projects on time, budget and to specification.
- Continually refining skills and keeping up to date with emerging technologies, techniques and workflows.
- Support the further development of our software products
- Optimise workflows and processes to increase productivity
- Maintain records and document the process for future reference and for colleagues to easily access and understand

Skills and Requirements

- Proficient in C# and Object-Oriented programming
- Experience developing and delivering immersive (AR, VR etc.) applications.
- Working knowledge of software design architectures.
- Working knowledge of source control.
- Working knowledge of Unity.
- An understanding of web technologies and experience developing/supporting projects for web delivery.
- Have a portfolio of work to demonstrates relevant skills.

Nice to have

- Proficient in the use of source control, preferably Git.
- Working knowledge of linear algebra.
- Experience developing Unity editor scripts and plugins.
- Experience developing Unity shaders.
- Experience with Unreal Engine
